Pds Research Foundation

An Educational Platform for STEM Skill Development

Performance Drone Systems Research Foundation (PDS) is a Colorado-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing an inclusive platform for engineering skill development in remote sensing and autonomous technology design.

In 2025, we’re building drones to support the U.S. Public Safety sector, focusing on the needs of Fire and Police units. We also prioritize domestic sourcing of components, materials, and service providers.

Since 2015, PDS has mapped RGB and multispectral imagery, refining our data collection expertise. In 2017, we began building Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS). Now, in 2024, our programs emphasize flexible customization, open-source components, and the use of domestically sourced materials, while enhancing data collection capabilities with high-quality, locally sourced crafts.
