An Educational Platform for STEM Skill Development

Performance Drone Systems Research Foundation (PDS) is a Colorado-based nonprofit dedicated to providing inclusive education in remote sensing and autonomous technology design and engineering. Our 2024 corporate objective is to promote and practice sourcing domestic components, parts, equipment, and materials providers.

Since 2015, we’ve been mapping imagery and collecting NIR and LiDAR data across the US. With a focus on craft development since 2017, we successfully built our first fixed-wing aircraft by 2019. Now in 2023, our advanced drones prioritize open source collaboration, customization, cost-efficiency, and superior data collection, utilizing domestic suppliers and partners.
